~ ~ " Finger Talk " ~ ~ I'm finally working on new material for a solo recording project ~ it's an inspiration of my involvement in the disability movement, fused with the love for my niece who has Autism in twined the passion of Faith and the Hope of Music . ~ The working title for the project is " Finger Talk " ~ I came up with the idea by years of watching people and how they communicate with their hands , weather it be through sign language , gestures of anger or signs of Love as well those who perform music . The songs are going to be a blend of melodic harmonies laced tones from various talented players (each having their own style) . It's in the beginning stage so it's just starting to take life. ~ Hopefully you'll be surprised with the end result ~ I'd like to thank Neil Zaza for committing and helping me out! ~~ there is no set ending date at this time ( est. 4 months ~ lol ) ~ but it will be worth the wait , thanks Bobby D ~~~~~I’m also very excited and grateful to be working on my Bachelor's Degree in Music Education / Music Therapy and a Minor in Classical /Jazz Guitar Performance ( both to help me in goal to work with Autism and Alzheimer patients )"Music is your own experience, your own thoughts, your wisdom. But, man, there's no boundary line to art." - Charlie "YardBird" Parker I guess by now you can tell that my biggest passion next to music is the disAbilities Movement - My current occupation is Consultant and Advocate for (Information Technology, Disabilities, Political Policy on Disability Issues) www.benderconsult.com and www.autism-society.org - I'm also working with former Congressman Tony Coelho who was the (Author of the Americans with Disability Act)I never wanted to be an "In The Box" type of player - I love to play everything from The Beatles to Wes Montgomery to Bach . ~ Coming from a background in rock, jazz and classical music , I'm trying to define my niche as an instrumental / soloist guitarist with an unparalleled ability to combine solid, catchy songwriting with a keen melodic sense and technical styling of some top players of today and past . ~ Hummmm ...
