I was born March 14th, on an airforce base in upstate New York. Raised in the south suburbs of Buffalo, New York, I was exposed to a wide spectrum of musical influences. My parents listened to all the great 70s music from rock to country. I showed an interest in music at an early age. My parents bought me my first acoustic guitar after I saw an uncle, playing with an original rock band. He taught me my first few chords at age 14.
Music became my lifes focus from then on.
Majoring in music at Frontier High School, I met other like-minded musicians to work with, including PJ Grinchs drummer Todd Kruger . I soon found myself jumping from one garage band to another and working behind the scenes for established acts and venues; learning the
tricks of the trade.
It wasnt until a band called Sol Patch that I found my musical stability. As a bass player and songwriter for the band, I found an awesome creative outlet. During the five years I was with Sol Patch we released four CDs. Made up from a circle of talented friends and brothers, including PJ Grinchs front man Pete Denzel , Sol Patch took me to a new level professionally. We quickly rose to the top of the Buffalo music scene playing the best venues in town and nominated for numerous local awards, including best new original bass player.
After Sol Patch, I spent three years in Daytona Beach, Florida writing and fine tuning my guitar skills. Soon after a phone call from Pete, I was on my way across the country to Phoenix, Arizona. For six years now I've been making my mark on the west coast as lead guitarist for PJ GRINCH .
I'm influenced by all the great guitar players like, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Kirk Hammett, Slash, Jimmy Page and Joe Perry. But I'm mostly influenced by the talented circle of brothers I've had the pleasure of jamming with. If you asked me what its all about I would say;
