Katrina

Katrina Kadoski is originally from Fort McMurray Alberta, where at age nine, she was awarded the Rotary Music Festival provincial vocalist scholarship. She has since become a skilled songwriter, guitarist, and studied piano and banjo to accompany many years of vocal training, which include jazz, classical, musical theatre and opera. Her voice has been described as powerful, sweet, and unapologetic. Her debut CD of original songs, Whirlpools, was recorded in Calgary, AB and released independently in 1998. She has performed in Canada, the USA, Ireland, and England both solo and with the band she founded Honeygirl. A versatile musician, she has also toured with Allen Dobb www.allendobb.com playing backing guitar and banjo, and sang background vocals on his latest album Rosetown (Warner/Pacific Music).
