About Me

Katrina Kadoski is originally from Fort McMurray Alberta, where at age nine, she was awarded the Rotary Music Festival provincial vocalist scholarship. She has since become a skilled songwriter, guitarist, and studied piano and banjo to accompany many years of vocal training, which include jazz, classical, musical theatre and opera. Her voice has been described as powerful, sweet, and unapologetic. Her debut CD of original songs, Whirlpools, was recorded in Calgary, AB and released independently in 1998. She has performed in Canada, the USA, Ireland, and England both solo and with the band she founded Honeygirl. A versatile musician, she has also toured with Allen Dobb www.allendobb.com playing backing guitar and banjo, and sang background vocals on his latest album Rosetown (Warner/Pacific Music). She is currently living and working in a beautifully remote heritage garden on Vancouver Island and practicing alot. www.boatbasin.org.. width="425" height="350" ..

Band Members: I perform mostly as a solo singer songwriter, these days it's just for the birds, ghosts and occasional visitors of Cougar Annie's Garden.. where I live and work. Just working on the writing process now, more than anything... I guess more perfoming will evolve once the the writing faze is fully captured...
Influences: kindness, compassion, patience, graditude, solar winds, snow storms, belly laughs, tears, moonless sky, sunrise, hugs, the desert, Rainforest, love, fear... birth, death... and anyone who seems to have faced their fears and afterward still chose love.....
