BASS PLAYER NOT LOOKING TO JOIN BAND

About Me

This page does not represent just one band, but one gal with several bands. At the moment I have mp3s up for all of them: Melomane, the Jack Grace Band, the Kings County Queens and the Pre-War Ponies. Conveniently for you, the MySpace browser, three of those bands have their own MySpace sites, so if you like what you hear, you can listen to more tracks at their respective pages. (see my friends, below)
The Pre-War Ponies is a band that showcases some of the finest selections from my someday-to-be-vast sheet music collection. A few highlights are: 'Pettin' In The Park', '(Give Me The) Moon Over Brooklyn', 'Pardon My Southern Accent', and 'The Gentleman Just Wouldn't Say Goodnight.' It features Jon Dryden on the peeannah and accordion and Doug Largent or Tim Luntzel on the bass. I play the baritone uke and vocalize, and often we get lucky enough to have the likes of J. Walter Hawkes on soprano uke and trombone. We've just recorded basic tracks for about 8 tunes, Two Sleepy People is the first up - one of my favorite old Hoagy numbers. More to follow soon! Maybe even our own MySpace page...
