I grew up on a mountain near Cherokee, NC where the banjo scene in "Deliverance" was filmed.Seasoned Media Analyst, Idiosyncratic Musician, Amature 19th Century Historian, Trivia Wiz Kid, Caretaker of the Lower East Side's Museo Loco, Mr. Johnny Fox's very own superb oddity collection: the Freakatorium (closed 2005). Besides playing & singing with my own band: THE JIMMY NATIONS COMBO , I occasionally work the guitar on other artists' recording and live performances. I also work in the publishing biz.I was in the infamous North Carolina bands, BRICKBAT & BURNLEY BROS, back in the day, among others. A reunion show happened April 16, 2006 in San Francisco...check out our Brickbat page on myspace: BRICKBATMy current band is the Jimmy Nations Combo: The A-Number-One Hillbilly Boogie band in New York City. I'm a part-time gurtar player with Sean Kershaw & the New Jack Ramblers, & on occasion, I collaborate in writing & playing music for live theater performance. Thanks for stoppin' on by. Hope you dig the sounds.Rock It, Roll It & Do It To It. -- J-Nats
