2ser is an integral part of Australia’s media landscape. It is a grass roots, locally focussed, volunteer driven community station, is truly independent and not for profit. As 2ser receives no government funding, it relies on financial contributions from listeners and members of the community to continue to provide cutting edge radio.

Not only does 2ser play a huge role in the exposure and promotion of truly alternative music from Sydney, Australia, and around the world, it also stands alone in its coverage of under-reported news and current affairs, and has done so for over 28 years. Ingrained in the culture and sound of 2ser is its commitment to social justice and political change, and it makes a concerted effort to offer a voice to those in our community that are not otherwise given the chance.
The station community is invited to contribute to growing their own radio by making a contribution to 2ser. The cost of subscription ranges from $33 a year for those that are entitled to a concession or are unwaged, to $66 a year for the average Joes and Joannes, through to Lifetime Subscriptions which are $600. Businesses ($250) and Organisations, Artist, and Passionate Supporters ($120) are also invited to subscribe, and receive extra benefits for their helping hand. Listeners can also make a donation, all donations over $2 are tax deductible.
