The days of the earth-shattering and eye-opening performances of SFN are sadly over. However, the guys still remain close, though busy with separate projects. Joel Sprenger, keyboardist for SFN is now in a Christian rock band called Ekkardia in Illinois, where he lives with his wife. Joel has already gotten a head start on family life with the arrival of his first child, Leland Hunter, and still resides in Maryville, Illinois. James Rennie, lead guitarist, is attending the University of Missouri, but is here in Hampton Roads for the summer months, and will be returning after the fall semester to take up permanent residence in Virginia. Aaron Matthes, bass, is continuing his musical career with a phenomenal band called Invo. www.myspace.com/invo. They will be touring late August for six weeks with Mae on a U.S. tour, and possibly abroad. Aaron still resides Chesapeake, Virginia. Greg Meekins, drummer, as well as Ryan Berry, vocals and guitar, are also in a different band called The Tripps. www.myspace.com/thetripps. They have had a variety of national act opening spots, press, and countless shows. Ryan also became a married man on June 9, 2007. Sorry ladies. Look for all Ryan, Aaron, Greg, James, and Joel to be very successful in their careers as fathers, husbands, musicians, and friends. Stay tuned however, because new news is always upon us.
