Comercial failure with artistic integrity.

About Me

I am a musician, a dancer, a writer, and a traveler. I love to read; to absorb information; to exercise my mind ... and my soul. I learn most things the hard way, and always have; I've lived my life like a 'rock star' in a lot of ways. Always larger than life. When I am good, I'm damn good, but when I'm bad, it's doesn't get much worse. Once I decide to do something, I do it all the way, for better or worse (I've been married 2x!), and I learn ... sooner or later. One way or another. I'm a very sensitive and passionate person by nature, but I am also thoughtful and selective about how I spend that energy. I have more patience than most people I know which is a good thing because the Sicilian in me loves to fight; my better judgment almost always wins out unless I've been drinking tequila, or you fucked with someone I love. I value common sense, integrity, and simplicity; they are far too rare these days. Most everyone who knows me, likes me. I'm a likable gal. A cool chick. Smart, strong, talented, attractive, etc., but I have my demons, and my skeletons too; however, I take comfort in the fact that 'good' and 'bad' depend on individual perspective, and despite what most people seem to believe about their self-control (or lack thereof) that remains a fact. My current focus artistically is called Lot Lizard. It's a new musical project I am currently trying to realize. Rock and roll. Originals, my own as well as other band members. I also have the 'ok' from the respective parties to breathe life back into some songs that I am intimately connected to having been a part of their inspiration, inception, and/or evolution. Most are from bands that no longer exist, and would never be played again by anyone, otherwise; a few are still played by their original creators, which leads to another important aspect of what I do: Musical Community. I co-created/booked an Americana music showcase called The Brokedown Opry in San Francisco from 2000-2003 to spotlight local Americana artist, and to provide a venue to touring artists of the genre.
