MyGen Profile Generator Slattern is a hard-rock band out of Baltimore with a mission: to prove that women in rock aren't just a pretty face and a pretty voice. Painstakingly putting the project together Slattern takes pride in their ability to deliver music that rides above the edge of mainstream. Guitar player Bryan's addiction with the Bartitone guitar makes for a much darker, deeper ambience when combined with Madison's determination to blend in vocals straight from the gut without all the fluff and fanfare of other pop vocalists. Slattern has been a slow burning project focusing more on finding the perfect bass and percussion countreparts instead of settling for second best. It's been a long haul, but well worth the wait and effort!

Slattern has every intention of returning to Orion Studios to produce their first ever full-length CD and is setting their sights for 2008. The title of the CD has yet to be released but the band is expecting some 14+ tracks on the compilation including re-recording, mixing and mastering Pressure, Serotonin, No More and Stolen.
At the moment Slattern is simply focusing on hitting the stages this year in full force to get the engine running. There are plans of gigs reaching beyond the Maryland borders this year with their sights set on Deleware, D.C., Virginia, New Jersey and possibly New York. With enough luck, hard work and audience sponsorship Slattern plans to hit the stages with Emergenza on their next rotation so plans for gigs in other states is a great possibility. For now Slattern will contend with playing in the Baltimore region featuring live releases of a handful of new material never heard before that are sure to please their sweating fans with more ass kickery than before!
