As a comedian, Lester Bibbs has experienced many levels of success. He was discovered by Steve Harvey at a comedy club in Memphis called Sir Laugh Alot. His hard work and dedication has given him the opportunity to work at some of the most prestigious comedy clubs such as: The Improv, Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, Funny Bones, The Punchline and StarDome. His first TV break ironically enough came from DL Hughley, which opened the doors for his success on BET's Comic View. His big break also came from Bob Sumner when he appeared on HBO's Def Comedy Jam. He said in his own words, "This kicked the doors wide the fuck open". As one of the best entertainers he was featured on HBOs Bad Boys of Comedy, BETs Comic View, and HBOs Def Comedy Jam. Working side-by-side with some of the greatest comedians such as: Richard Pryor, Rodney Dangerfield, Chris Tucker, Steve Harvey, Cedric The Entertainer, Michael Epps, Bernie Mac and DL Hughley has been a blessing to help shape and mold him to be a Verbal Lethal Weapon. He is often known as the Tupac of Comedy determined to uplift and never accept being put down.Lester is not only one of the best comedians, but he is a loving father of Langston Bibbs. He has the determination to raise his son to be a mature prominent young man. When he is not on the stage bringing joy to his loving people, he is spending time with his son. While bringing joy to many, Lester also has a very serious side. As an advocate for his people, Lester was the reason that David Duke had to pull out of his campaign in the early 1990s. David Duke is known as the Grand Wizard of the KKK and Lester Bibbs took him head on.Being one of the last to see Tupac Shakur before he died made him realize that life can be given and taken away within a blink of an eye, because it only takes a second to live and a second to die.Special Thanks:I would like to give a special thanks to my guardian Angels of Comedy: Richard Pryor (RIP), Steve Harvey, Boomerang, JB Smoove, Earthquake, and Bob Sumner for giving me life in the game.
