About Me

Candythief often consists of Diana singing and playing guitar, Jem playing drums and singing, Jason playing fiddle and Jonathan Moss or Jason Simpson on bass. Between them they have drunk much tea and dabbled in all kinds of musical nonsense and had more adventures than is sensible. We’ve just finished recording album number two, and we’re looking for a good home for it. It sounds like psychadelic european cowboy music.Come and be friends.I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace

Yes, somehow I ended up on a shortlist for best female singer 07 with people like Amy Winehouse and the like who do not have to basically subsidise their creative output by doing weird odd jobs a...

Technicolour Wilderness NEARLY HERE, & review of Thrum

Last mix day on the album is coming up. It's got more kick than a herd of mules, as much spook as a valley of graveyards on halloween, and considerably more assorted percussion than eit...

Suddenly here we are, in high summer (apparently) at the bit of July where suddenly you realise that you were waiting all year for summer and you'd only just got used to the idea of it and it's kind o...
