Antifolk Open Mic (Rule of 4)

About Me

The Antifolk UK Rule of Four is the monthly gig night from the UK Antifolk Community based in the Water Poet (near the Liverpool St Station). It's compered and organised by Antifolk UK and is based on the idea that 4 songs is the optimum number to hear from an act in order to get a feel for the kind of music they make without your mind starting to wander.The Rule of Four features 4 or 5 acts playing 4 songs each along with a half-hour headline set by a special guest performer.***Thank you to everyone that came to the our first ever Open Mic night on November 7th. It was a big success and we've decided to do another one in January 2008. Highlights included a brilliant suprize set by the infamous Finnish serial killer Dr. Pekka Burger and a very very lovely set from Miss Sills that won everyones hearts.If you're a solo musician, poet, performance artist or band and are interested in performing at the Rule of Four get in touch now.Thanks again and see you all next time, JJ Crash and Thee Intolerable Kidd
