Born in 1978 . Started playing guitar at 15 with no musical background in the family. In 1997 formed his first band Philharmonic Weed and soon started singing because there were no singers available for the group. Quit Law School in 2004 to pursue musical career. Lessons with the portuguese jazz guitarrist André Matos. In 2004 was invited to join the free jazz dub afroband Doctor J. In 2005 was invited to sing for the famous portuguese band Cool Hipnoise. In 2005 formed Cacique´97 Afrobeat Collective and No Agreement Soundcrew with Gonçalo Oliveira , a DJ Collective based on Afrobeat, Funk and Rare Grooves. Was invited to feature on a few portuguese artists records such as Sagas, Sam The Kid, Mercado Negro and LF Cool. In August 2006 played guitar with the brazillian MC Marcelo D2 in Festival Sudoeste and was invited to a workshop with the veterans Jamaican Allstars.
