my life practically revolves around music...i like all kinds, each genre/band/artist with its own little niche in the contradiction that is my life. i like various kinds of "punk," whether it be early 80's brit punk, early 90's harcore punk, post-punk, etc. i really love it when i can find good emo...it seems most of the earlier stuff, when emo was first evolving, is the best stuff. i'm also stoked when i find good indie bands...which can be difficult, considering the whole principle of indie "scenesters" is to only speak of bands no one else has ever heard of. lately, thanks to the influence of my (fucking gorgeous) ta, david, (basically the only reason i attended class), i've been listening more and more to classic rock...like extending outside the scope of each band's one hit song, and listening to the less overplayed stuff. its really awesome listening to the lyrical effects of too much acid and weed. lets see...angsty european glam rock a la placebo is the shit, you know, the sounds of i've-eaten-too-many-pills-and-had-too-much-sex-all-night...o
h yeah. and last but not least...my lover in musical form...all sorts of techno. i absolutely love all kinds, including but not limited to house, techno, trance, hardhouse (swooon), uk hardcore, jungle, dnb (hot and sexual), breaks (ooooh yeah...), electro, even cheesy electroclash and drag house (sometimes i can't help myself)...oh so fabulous.
seriously if "electronica" was a person...i would have so much sex with it...
