Punk History Canada

Old School Rules!

About Me

Punk History Canada was created to honor the years of 1977-1987, which in our opinion were the formative years of punk rock in Canada. We want to chronicle everyone from the greats to the unknowns who waved the flag of punk rock in Canada and to those who supported them. To all those who drank all our beer, ate all our food and who slept on our couches, beds and even in our bathtubs......this site is for YOU!!
Punk History Canada presents “Only in Canada, Eh” (77-81) Volume 1 is the first CD to be released by PUNK HISTORY CANADA ( www.punkhistorycanada.ca ). The website covers the punk scene in Canada from 1977 to 1987. This CD encompasses 23 amazing and influential bands formed between 1977 and 1981, that span from coast to coast The CD includes unreleased, live, rare and hard to find material from these legendary bands and is appealing to both the collectors and aficionados of Canadian punk.
From Victoria, British Columbia to St. John's, Newfoundland, from hardcore to no-wave, a selection of the forerunners of early Canadian punk are compiled and re-mastered on this CD. Both the old and new punk fans will enjoy this compilation.
