About Me

Hi everyone, this is John Catto here. I was and am the guitarist and songwriter for Canadian punk band The Diodes. We were originally operative from 1976 till 1983, as of the summer of 2007 we are now back in business. I currently reside in London England and have played with or on remixes of a wide variety of artists including The Grid, Adamski, Olimax and DJ Schapps, Jeremy Gluck, Phil Dirtbox, Ricky Gervais, Sex Sex Sex (with Eric DÃ©bris), The Tiger Lilies and many more.

My Interests

All creative Art & Design. Playing guitar as well as building them (check my blogs here for photos of my work) I have a life long interest in vintage guitars especially 1950's Les Pauls & Teles.

The history of popular music, I'm a huge music trivia freak.

Clothes, Shoes, Jewelry, anything you wear.

I'd like to meet:

Music:

All kinds of rock music especially Punk, 60's garage, Bubble Gum, Glam, Psychedelia, Metal, Metal and err.. more Metal. Female vocal jazz, Gypsy Jazz, 60's soul music, and ambient guitar noise/electronica. Actually I'll give anything a fair listen to be honest.

Movies:

Horror, especially anything gothic/vampire related, Japanese Anime, anything with subtitles!
