2-4-2 Info:2-4-2 are Jaz and Sam Thomas, teenage sisters from South London, Talented singer songwriters and the subject of a new 12 episode animated series currently in production. They are also in the process of launching a range of fashion merchandise, with a book of beautiful imagery from the series to follow. The merchandise will be launched over several phases to coincide with the release of their debut album and TV series.Greyology Inc. Their production/record company dedicated to the development of the project have been responsible for a host of film visuals and popular music videos as well as the creative direction and management of top recording artists.The initial t-shirt range recently shown at the Interseason fashion shows during fashion week contain characters, images and scenes from the 2-4-2 animated series.Sam can also be seen gracing the pages of fashion magazines such as Marie Claire, Company Pride etc. and was also the face of the nationwide poster campaigns for Dr Martens and Diesel jeans.2-4-2 deliver pure vocals, sweet harmonies and revel in the ability to mix different music genres and make them their own. Its an album project that hints at the Motown Sound of yesteryear yet embraces contemporary hip-hop/r+b.2-4-2 are enjoying collaborations with award winning Producers from both the UK and U.S among others they include, Hip Hop Legends The Jungle Brothers, SouthSoul/Paul Lewis (CeCile, Tami, WeDis', Sean Paul), Art Terrel, Syklone (Destinys Child, Macy Gray, Craig David, Nathan etc), Dawn Joseph (Nate James, Sugarbabes, Honeyz), H-Money (Fun-D-Mental), PJ Morton (Monica, India Arie, Jagged Edge, Heather Headley), Curtiss Boone (Anita baker, Aretha Franklin, Wendy Moten).2-4-2 had success very early in their careers, when at the ages of 15 and 16 a national soap opera in Japan used a 2-4-2 track as the theme tune. This track can currently be found on the 'Hits on TV' album on Universal Music Int.2-4-2's unique brand of Hip-Pop will be promoted through a music based animated TV series. 2-4-2 LIVING THE DREAM a TV series that shows the life of a new band about to break experiencing the trials and tribulations of the music biz while on tour. Their travels lead them on moral building adventures around the globe. The whole series depicts a group achieving their dreams while donating much of their success to the less fortunate.Jaz (Aries) and Sam (Taurus) try to keep their feet firmly on the ground as they step into the roles of positive ambassadors.2007 continues to bless 2-4-2 with success. Jaz is featured in the new feature film starring Natalie Stewart of Floetry and the film has a 2-4-2 song on the soundtrack called 'RockStar'. We will see 2-4-2 further to support their favourite charities incl. Make a wish foundation, Shelter and Factum Trust as well as touring while initiating the audience to their very own soulful brand of 2-4-2 Hip-Pop........JAZ THOMAS has a cameo role in the new film, pop thriller 'REASONABLE EXCUSE' starring NATALIE STEWART of FLOETRY, directed by SAMONA WILLIAMS and the 2-4-2 track 'ROCKSTAR' with SHAY features on the soundtrack and will be available soon as a download and ringtone........Watch this space! www.2-4-2.co.uk
