2Play first exploded onto the UK garage scene in 1997 as a DJ, playing alongside EZ and Karl"TuffEnuff" Brown. But just playing records wasn't enough,and he soon teamed up with one of the hottest UK 2-Step producers, Sunship. 2Play is also the man behind the huge club cover of the Kevin Lyttle hit 'Turn me on'. His debut single 'So Confused' came out january 2004 and topped the charts and remiained in the top ten for 7 weeks! and went on to earn 2play a mobo for best collaboration.
His second single 'It Cant Be Right' jumped straight into the UK Top 10 upon release,and was another big hit. After 2 consecutive UK top ten hits, 2Play found himself in hot demand, a raft of top singers and song writers arrived into the camp and work began on the 2play Album.
Whilst working on his debut album, 2Play has managed to find the time to write & produce for several other artist, such as Maxi Priest, Simon Webbe, Ava Leigh (mad about the boy) Eylem, Moni & Jah Mirakle.
2play is due to release his new album towards the end of 2007, which is gonna be big!
The Album has been worked on for over a year now, with new songs being added all the time. It features vocals from Maxi Priest, Raghav, Moni, Jah Mirakle, Thomas Jules, Juxci D, Troublesome, Roachie, Ward 21, Gappy Ranks.
