When Georgio Armani heard Assad Namazi playing at Maddox in London, he couldn't resist getting him down to Milan to play at his own Club. Currently based in London, playing at some of the hippest celebrity hang outs and parties, this jetsetting DJ/Producer regularly travels around the world, giving people what they want but with an eccentric twist!

It all started back home in Bangalore (India) for Assad, when Assad stepped into the clubbing scene that whetted his appetite for music. Before he knew it, he found himself winner of the very first Times of India & Smirnoff's "War of the DJs" back in '98.
With this win, Assad catapulted to become one of the biggest names in the clubbing scene in India. He became resident DJ at one of the most prestigious clubs in India called The Club, and the most sought after guest DJ at clubs and events across the country, with a huge fan following! As aptly expressed by one of The Club's regulars: 'Assad's spoilt us! Now we can enjoy nothing short of his music!"
Today, Assad holds residencies and plays at the most A-list clubs in London. He is currently resident at Maddox, Pangaea with regular guest DJ slots at China White, Maya, Amika, Raffles, Aura, 24, Volstead, Mint, etc. His clients include some of the most sought after names – Black Eyed peas, Sienna miller, Selfridges, Cartier, Glamour magazine, Lakshmi Mittal, Dr Vijay Malllaya to name only a few! He also boasts of having headlined alongside DJ icons like Mylo, Pete Tong, Sonique and Robert Miles.
Musically Assad is a house DJ (minimal/electro/tech/funky) but members clubs in London also book him for his R&B/Hip hop/Pop/Rock mash-up sets. His sets are timeless and international, encompassing music from all genres and epochs. A lot of his sets include his own, original, unreleased mixes, and that's what makes the party experience exclusive.
Assad is always trying to push the limits of entertaining, incorporating new ideas, new technology, as well as adding off-beat elements into his set! It's a rage to hear the live percussionist and saxophonist play alongside while he spins.
