About Me

Please take a moment to listen to the bands I play in, or have a quick read of the things I like. I have a broad taste in music and like equal amounts of pop as I do free-form noise. As a social, enthusiastic and creative kinda guy, I'm always up for hearing and seeing new bands/films/exhibitions and meeting people when I've got the time, but this doesn't mean I have to be friends with every person or band on MySpace. So, if you feel there's some common ground between us, send me a message with your request. Thanks.
I'm Amos and I play in these popular music combos:
Electric Assembly , Fanfarlo and Silver Springs .
I hit most of the skins on Darren Hayman 's album, "Secondary Modern." You can get nostalgic and share my fond memories of time spent in tompaulin (alongside Katie who is now in Silver Springs, Jamie from The Fischers and Simon who runs Soup Studio) who released two albums, "The Town & the City" (Uglyman) and "Into the Black" (Track & Field) and a compilation CD of our singles, "Everything was Beautiful and Nothing Hurt." (Track & Field).
The Loves latest album, Technicolour, (Sunday Times POP CD of the week! Feb 2007) and single on Fortuna Pop , which feature me, Katie and Simon on a couple of tracks. Check the Os Mutantes cover on the b-side of their "X's and O's" single, and read a SoundsXP review of when Silver Springs and The Loves played at Bitterscene in Chelmsford together here .
A review of the split promo cd featuring Electric Assembly and Silver Springs can be found here while the debut Electric Assembly EP has been reviewed by Lost Music (Link temporarily down) .
