About Me

Mical Noelson (vocals and guitar), Anders Meisner (bass) and Andreas Langhorn (drums) formed The Stutters less than two years ago but it has already grown to be one of the best underground acts in the Netherlands. The rebellious spirit of this UK-Scandie trio- not compromising nor attempting to impress music critics- has resulted in flat fast rock'n'roll and amazing focus on live energy. The Stuttersâ€™ influences vary from The Knife, David Bowie and The Hives but it tells more about the bandâ€™s approach to their music than about the actual sound.
The Stutters have come a long way since they had their first show in the Red Light District in Amsterdam. After dozens of sweating gigs, hundreds of sold demos and a small lifetime sacrificed in practising, the band was signed to the Independent Record Company in 2007. Currently Mical, Anders and Andreas are busy with recording their first EP that will be released in the spring.
