About Me

You can find out a lot about yourself online. I've read that I'm a "Punk Rock Legend"... This is probably not true plus I think you may have to dead to qualify. I've also read about how I was 10 year old Punk Rocker in the 70's and hung out with and met all sorts of people who probably have some vague memory of some little kid who liked to talk about records. This is more or less true. I consider myself to be an obscure collectable and an aquired taste.
Since 1981 I have had an experimental Punk band called The Brain People. The guitar player refuses to play (but sometimes plays horn) the drummer has never learned to play, I am the bass player and session musician. We do improvisation racket that I record then try to edit, mutate and overub upon until it sounds like something. They have their own myspace page here
Aside from The Brain People, I also have an electronic project called Machine Section who have one CD out. I have also been in The Wankers, Happy Warfare, La-Bas and released a bunch of records under my own name "Tommy Dog".. In those days I hadn't added the affectation of spelling my last name in all capitols.

My Interests

Buying and building musical instruments, listening to records. -I'm a collector in general when it comes to musicology. I'm also building a portable freak show.

I'd like to meet:

Musicians and artists whose work I respect, learn about new artists and maybe form an all star Punk Rock orchestra featuring people playing instruments they don't know how to play. -wait, I may have already done that record.. eh, whatever.

Music:

Punk has been my 1st love since I was 10. I do buy Rock & Roll, Jazz, Funk, Dub, Psychedelic, weird thriftstore oddities, lounge, you name it... Anything but MOI shit, Opera, Disco and modern Counrty gets a spin on the wheels of steel.

The thing about music is there's always something new and something old that I haven't heard. I stick them slabs in my earholes and check it out. You never know whether it's gonna be someone like Squarepusher or The Cripples that puts out the next thing that blows off my fucking head.

Movies:

B-movies, horror, you know the drill..

Television:

Simpsons, Law & Order (s)

Books:

Huysmans, Thompson, Burroughs.

Right now I'm they are being boxed and stuffed in a storage space.

Heroes:

Anyone who ain't been caught yet and everyone who done their time right.
