I am here for Friends

About Me

I live with my mother and two sisters, Margaret and Marianne. We reside presently in Devonshire in Barton Cottage. We regret that we had to leave the family home at Norland Park in Sussex, but as to the passing of our dear father we have had to economize somewhat and move to a smaller yet cozy cottage in the country. We have settled in quite nicely and we look forward to a quiet and serene country living.Although, I leave one, I mean many very good friends far away in Sussex, I am confident that we shall meet them again very soon. I worry about my sister Marianne, she does not seem content upon our moving. I tend to be a bit more practical, than my sister, knowing that things will work out for the best sooner if not later. Though I am tremendously sensible and allow my head to rule more than oft. I only hope that she finds a hobbie or pursuit that will occupy her time soon enough.

My Interests

I enjoy a good book on dreary days when I am not able to take a walk in the garden. I needlepoint a little and I enjoy writing to family and friends. I play the piano forte to a moderate degree and sing very little. I enjoy dancing when I have an adequate dance partner.

I'd like to meet:

Friends and family are always the best kind of society.

Music:

I am not very particular or passionate on any specific style of music.

Books:

Any book that I find just lying around interest me the most for it's ease of use.

Heroes:

A lock of hair.
