Something rather huge is happening in Brighton this Saturday 31st May at the Concorde2, marking the 20th anniversary of the Second Summer of Love, and the beginning of the third...
Your good friends at Instrumentality have gathered together true rave pioneers alongside some of the freshest new beat merchants around, with killer live sets from the cream of the Warp, Rephlex, and Wireblock labels, right through till the sun rises at 5am!
There's the prolific and relentlessly innovative Clark laying down his new slamming live set with special Flat-E visuals, and UK acid pioneer Mike Dred aka The Kosmik Kommando aka Universal Indicator brings 100kg of pure analogue goodness to the stage for a full power hardware workout. Gescom and Skam records DJ Rob Hall drops one of the most wanted sets in the business, whilst the young and scorching-hot Rustie gives us a live exhibition of the rhythm of the future and Italian techno legend Lory D fly's in from Rome with a Super-heavyweight live set in our Wireblock special. Finally, Detroit raised Jimmy Edgar drops by last minute with a heady lesson in live electro body movement to complete what has to be the most outrageous lineup for any party this year!
If this were not enough, there's a whole plethora of freshness to be enjoyed in the front room too, with a special Wireblock Records DJ showcase from Jackmaster, Spencer and Nelson, the boys bringing you such delights as Rustie, Lory D, and Hudson Mohawke, new Tigerbeat6 signing Black Rabbit, Japanese hardcore electronica from Yaporigami, hardware acid booty-tech from Mata Unit, plus Instrumentality's Dancefloor combatants Voltek, Algoriddim, Reteric and Oozat.
With a huge visuals and camera setup, you'll see all the action on multiple screens, and have your retina's scorched with the pixel-melting skills of Piratio and Ministry of Sound resident VJ's MoreBuck$ and Elastic Eye.
An optical and aural feast with a special menu of Acid, Techno, Dubstep, Electro and Rave, seasoned with a whole spice rack of new flavours that haven't even been named yet. Don't miss the essential seaside party of the summer!
