So is MySpace. But don't let that put you off.
Anyway, welcome to the hyperbole-bereft page that will tell you everything and nothing you need not to know about The Globe & All. And less.
So, let's cut a pretty average-length story short...
In late-2005 two brothers from a muso background decide to bugger about making music as a little aside. This goes better than expected.
Deciding that their impromptu noise-merchantry has a pair of sturdy legs, they approach a close friend - and resident of the same small Cornish village - about shuftying the whole shebang on a bit further. And getting shedded in the local Mole and Trombone afterwards.
Initially reluctant - having already endured several years of manifestly dung-minded, biscuit-crumb, phalluses parading as recording industry nabobs - he converts. And, if you're wondering, it is he writing this prattle.
The author then contacts a long-lost friend who is up to his balls in wood-shavings. Said carpenter also happens to be among the finest exponents of hickory-upon-snare artistry.
This acquistion is swiftly followed by the arrival of someone who can not only play bass but also possess more than just a modicum of stage presence. Better still, he isn't a four-string twanging pillock. And they're rare, believe me.
They play a launch party gig to, ooooh, quite a few, in December 2005.
A couple of months later, and five days away from a bash in the big smoke, the purveyor of fine paraddidles is incapacitated by an irretrievably buggered prolapsed disc.
Band seeks new drummer.
New drummer found.
New drummer saves day (before an umentionable incident at 3:30am during the 300-mile drive back home to Cornwall).
New drummer forgiven.
Band reconvenes and sets about playing a few select gigs.
More songs written.
And here we are.
