I was born and raised on my familys farm in rural Maryland, where at the age of 3 I lost two toes in a lawn mowing accident, a trauma that resulted in my unique personality and sharp sense of humor. At the age of 10, my mother bought my first camera that sparked my obsession with image making. This led me to attend the Maryland Institute College of Art where I received a Bachelors degree in photography. From there I moved to New York, and in the decade that I've lived there, my work has appeared in major publications such as Interview, Spin, Details and OUT magazine. I've also done numerous ad campaigns for Nike, Rheingold Beer, MTV, VH1 and Game Show Network.
