In his birth country Austria - Martin is known for such classic TV ads as the animated 'Der Standard' (daily newspaper) or 'Schauspielhaus' ad. As well, Martin is flickering through the screens in his very own videos such as 'Dangerous Cat'.Martin 101's song writing, production and lyrics are very much inspired by stand out electronica/ glam pop and club music. Producers such as Giorgio Moroder, Mark 'Spike' Stent or current act Timbaland had some influence on the final sound of his digi-LP 'High Fidelity' as well as his latest outstanding 'Play My Drum' single. The spacious signature style made out of a perfect mix of dark electronica, classic synth pop, glam-attitude and power club music has a wholly sincere-, and wholly endearing-, take on the music Martin 101 loves. Working with a team of respected musicians, voices and co-producers includes producer talent Patrick Kong (TNT Jackson), Mike Bandoni, Holemar/Prohazka (Schall & Rauch/ Studio 12), international DJ/producer Philipp van het Veld and 'FM4 Soundpark' Nouveau Cain.The output 'Dangerous Cat' with a video set in the simple burlesque of Hollywood in the 1940's (with costumes by award winner Martina Rogy & Louis Vuitton, directed by Julia Hofer, art directed by Martin 101 is telling a suggestive story of souls who search for that special kick at night. While the later offering, the Martin 101 tune 'Play My Drum' draws on the message in regards of 'modern pop culture moving along to the beat of a big drum'.
