"The sky is our home" debut album out july 2006

About Me

Marius is a rock band from the Faroe Islands. The bands first album "The sky is our home" was released in july 2006 on Tutl Records. The music is based on the songwriting of frontman and singer Hans Marius. Hans Marius, who previously fronted faroese pop/rock band Flux, is a gifted songwriter, with an ear for catchy, heartfelt melodies. Supported by a strong unit of musicians the music takes on an additional dimension when arranged and performed by the band. Marius won the Global Battle of the Bands National Final in the Faroe Islands on nov. 19th 2005, and played the GBOB World Final at London Astoria on dec. 7th, where they reached 6th place. Contact the band at: [email protected] or [email protected] (or write to us right here on myspace!)
