About Me

Born somewhere in the North Atlantic Ocean on some small islands. Don´t bother, I bet you haven´t heard of it before. Anno: the wonderful 1972 (honestly, I can´t remember a thing... so I guess it´s a cliche..). Moved to Sweden (a little bit bigger island than the first one mentioned) first time 1991. Attended a summer-bible school in Orebro followed by a one-year touring with a rock´n roll band. Second time 2003. Actually my wife got tired of the constant rain and wind on the tiny islands, so with her outstanding feminin technique, she persuated me to stick with her. And here I am. Believe it or not, but actually I´m in the car business. Or actually spare parts and accessories for Honda cars. And I love it! It has absolutely NOTHING to do with music or musical creativity, but it gives me a break from intervals, intonation, frygians, dorians and "too little memory to execute bounce to disc - please install more memory for increased performance - contact your nearest Apple dealer - on our web page you can find your nearest dealer - please enter your ZIP".The demosongs I have put on this page are some of the results of the countless nights at the computer. When you move to another country, it really takes time to establish a social network (at least when compared to a computer network...). So, yes, I spend a LOT of time composing, recording, trashing and redoing.By the way - the small islands in the North Atlantic Ocean are called Faroe Islands.

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: Me - Apple MAC - Pro Tools - Joe Meek preamplifier - Guitars and basses - LoopsSo I guess it will be hard to do a live show...

Influences: All good music that comes from the heart and the speakers. I´ve listened and have been inspired by Larry Carlton, Lee Ritenour, Joe Sample, Fourplay, Koinonia, Brian Culbertson, Regin Guttesen, Oscar Peterson, Richard Page, Michael McDonald, Jonatha Brooke, Jonathan Butler, Toto, Tower of Power Jay Graydon, David Foster, Bill Champlin, Phil Keaggy, Tommy Emmanuel and Chicago. I must not forget the person who inspired me to play and improvise on the guitar, Sofus Poulsen. If you ever get the opportunity to hear him at some small club in Torshavn, DO IT!In my early years I was exposed to the music of Jimmy Swaggart, John Starnes, Aage Samuelsen and Curt & Roland. My mother and brother loved the music and filled the house with those sweet, (sentimental) tones. This exposure has undoubtly planted a seed somewhere deep, deep inside me because I tend to travel towards country music as well. Artists like Alison Krauss, Chet Atkins, Brent Mason, Vince Gill and Susan Ashton can really move me!
Sounds Like: What do you think? Trying to develop my own style. ..
