strangers with candy, kids in the hall, old british comedy - e.g. young ones, abfab, blackadder, fawlty towers etc ... the office (the american show is finally satiating my devotion to the short-lived british version, i think both are brilliantly funny ), curb your enthusiasm, law and order, csi etc... mostly irreverent or satirical comedy, with the occasional drama or mystery.
