addActionListener(this) is a threepiece alternative/postcore band
Originally comprising of 4 musicians out of bands such as GA Sportlife, Easy Way Out and Delate several years ago, they set out to create some sounds of their own. After a demo titled ’the simplification of Seattle’ came their debut recording called ’Speakermouth’published on the Belgian Indie label http://funtimerecords.com .
Back on track as a three-piece since May 2006, addActionListener(this) are vigourously working on new tracks and ideas for their next offering, planned for mid 2008.
Speakermouth
Released in 2004, Speakermouth contains seven tracks that fuse several hardcore and postcore sounds together to form a distinct, but cohesive recording. A packed booklet of original artwork offering another interpretation of the songs completes a unique package.
The CD includes a version of Unsung, a song by the forefathers of post-hardcore Helmet

For the moment addActionListener(this) is working hard recording a new album in a non-conventional way. All it takes is a small basement called ‘the addActionListener(soundlab)’, some recording equipment and 3 musicians with their minds set on an experiment in sound. DIY!
