Hi!What's been up in Thyrsus world lately? Our drummer just left for a 6 month journey through South America. We didn't feel like lying low for a while, so we decided to get on with it. Pieter Van Hecken will pick up the drumsticks and replace Jef as long as necessary (Thanx Pieter!!). So, right now we're trying to get Pieter ready by December 21th, for his first show with Thyrsus in JH Tydeeh in Mol. We still have a lot of work to do, but we'll be ready!grtz Thyrsus
Biography
October / November 2005: after 3 wonderful years, the band “Low Density” ceases to exist. 3 Members of the band (Jelle – guitars, Bert – bass, and Dries – vocals) decide the time has come to face a new challenge.The hunt for a new drummer and a second axe wielder could begin. Numerous people apply for the jobs, but a couple of months later 2 guys prove to be the perfect fills for the vacant spots. Jef (ex-blame) takes position behind the drum kit, and Vincent will fulfil his share in the guitar duties.As a 5 piece the team is complete, and rehearsing can start all over. New songs are written, slowly but steadily. In November/December 2006, 5 songs are recorded. The mini-cd entitled “Forever And One Day” will be released in February 2007. After months of hard work, the band is finally ready to come out and play some hard rocking tunes!And they lived happily ever after.
