DETROIT PHOTOGRAPHER BRINGS OUT THE BEST IN U

About Me

Born and raised in Detroit, MI the youngest of seven children. I have always had a passion for drawing and painting while growing up and even studied Commericial Art in college but somehow lost that passion. In 1999, I had the opportunity to meet my favorite gospel group The Clark Sisters. In 2000 I was working for them as administrator of their website (www.theclarksisters.com) and President of their fan club. Who would have thought that meeting wouldhave changed my life. I began to travel with the group on occasions and take pictures of them for the website. The photos came out ok but I wanted them to be better so I bought a better camera. People would always see me taking pictures and asked if I took pictures for other people. It was just something that I was doing for the Clark site. Then my friend Ben Furlow asked me to take some modeling pictures of him and they came out "pretty good". Another group of friends, the singing group Highest Praise paid me a whopping $50 to take some promo pictures of them and again, they came out pretty good too. Since then I have found some beautiful people to model for me and a slew of beautiful people who have paid me to take their photos. It took a while but I finally found my true passion and I've been blessed to make a living off of it. My work has appeared on www.theclarksisters.com, www.tdjakes.com, www.gospelflava.com, www.gospelcity.com, www.detroitgospel.com. I have been a photographer at Detroit Fashion week, Detroit Fashion Party 2005-2006, Chicago Gospelfest, Motor City Praisefest, Detroit Winter Blast, JAMBS Conference, Seth Temple COGIC 90th Anniversary, J Drew Sheard B'Day Bash, Miss Christian Debutant 2006, several weddings and many other events (I'm gettin old and can't remember them all). My work has also appeared in the documentary "Higher Ground", Michigan Chronicle, Ordinary People Magazine, The Detroit News and other publications. All that I wanted was an autograph from the Clark Sisters but meeting them changed my entire destiny. Now come and let me bring out the best in you or your event.
