Im Kelli, born and raised in a small town in West Virginia. Music has been a part of my life as long as I can recall. I competed in many classical competitions in high school but decided not to pursue vocal performance in college. However, God had other plans. At the age of 18 I began leading praise and worship, and formed a group called LATTER RAIN. It was during this season of my life the gift of intercession was birthed, and the gift of songwriting, ministering, and prophecy was further developed. I traveled as an armorebearer for Prophetess Karen Dawson as well Evg Lanita Jackson for a length of time, which helped to cultivate the desire for Kingdom Building in my spirit. In 2002 I moved to Detroit , where I served as House Psalmist at Great Faith Ministries under the life changing leadership of Bishop Wayne T and Dr Beverly Y Jackson who remain my spiritual parents. I was a background vocalist for urban gospel artist Deitrick Haddon for 3.5 years, and currently I serve as a background vocalist for Dorinda Clark Cole a pleasure I've had for 3 years and counting. :) I was featured on the Stellar award winning project Voices of Unity All Star Edition in 2004, and recently a song I co wrote was featured on the late Chris Jone's album, "DANCE". I am grateful for the strong foundation of holiness I received from the pastors of my youth; the late Evelyn Moyer, and Bishop Roy C Dawkins. It is my endeavor to piece together the many talents and gifts God has given me to stitch a blanket of ministry covering many areas. I have a burden for the "over looked" age group of 26-34, and I'm currently working on a book to assist in the process of transitioning from young adult into true adulthood and grabbing hold of one's identity in Christ, as well as a devotional for wives of musicians and ministers. Somewhere in the next year I'm going to start on my project, just praying for thr right connections, the monies needed, and writing songs under the unction of Gods Spirit. (Will you pray with me?) I love to learn about worship,heaven,prophecy,basically the things of God. I'm finally understanding the calling on my life and I am girding myself up in the Word to prepare to take on many tasks, all for the upbuilding of Gods Kingdom. Currently, my most precious duties include a wife to my loving husband and mother to our young son. Life holds many things for me. I'm destined for greatness, but most importantly I'm drawing closer to Christ with each step of my journey. To please Him is my ultimate goal..
