Being raise around gospel music, it was known from an early age that he would be a lover of gospel music. he sang his first solo & directed his first choir at the age of 5 yr's old. Through out his years of growing up, he sang w/ such groups in Detroit known as The MIGHTY STARLIGHT WONDERS, The INSPIRATIONAL MELL-O-TONES, CHRIS WARE & THE VOCALARIES, to name a few. In the Birmingham Al. area he would sing with his Brother Rev. T. NELSON MILLER & THE AIRPORT COMMUNITY CHOIR, then later changing the name to THE YOUTH VOCIES OF HOPE. after then joining w/ his cousin SYLVIA McCAIN & THE EASTERN VOCIES OF FAITH of Birmingham Al. At age 17, he joined REV. DONALD VAILS & THE VOICES OF DELIVERANCE. There he was given a chance to showcase his vocal talent, in 1977 on Savoy Records w/ Rev. Vails & The Voices of Deliverance. You can hear his voice on such Selections as "What A Wonderful Savior I've Found" & "Real". These songs stay on the Billboard Charts for 123 weeks. In 1980,He founded a group called The APOSTLES OF SONG. he began to direct for the PALESTINE MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH for 19 years. Under his direction this choir won 1st Place in Detroit's 1st Annual Gospel Fest in 1982.He also has an acting career to add to his credits,with such plays as "THE MANADATE", GOD'S TROMBONES", "HALLELUJAH, HALLELUJAH", "BLACK NATIVITY", starring......Tramine Hawkins, "THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT!" starring.....Regina Belle,Glenn Jones & Vanessa Bell-Armstrong, just to name a few. He was the choir master for the "THE COLORS OF CHRISTMAS" featuring..Jeffery Osbourne, Philip Bailey, Sheena Easton, & Denise Williams. He's is the Founder & Director of Sound Of Gospel Recording Artist's "DR. E. LaQUINT WEAVER & THE HALLELUJAH SINGERS". They are now expecting their new release in June of 2007 on The Sound Of Gospel Label (aka. S.O.G.)entitled, "A NEW LEVEL!....LIVE IN BIRMINGHAM AL.". He also serves as Minister of Music & choregrapher for the dance ministry, "RICH-N-PRAIZE DANCERS" at the OBEDIENT BAPTIST CHURCH, of Detroit. also to his credits he's produced such artist as, REV. WALTER A. STEEN, THE OBEDIENT BAPTIST COMBINDED CHOIR, THE VOCIES OF NEOPOLITAN, THE INSPRIRATIONAL STARS And Stellar Award Winners RIZEN. He's perform with such R&B and Gospel Greats as, Tramaine Hawkins, Jennifer Holiday, Regina Belle, Vanessa Bell-Armstong, Take 6, Glenn Jones, LeAnne Faine,Vicki Winans,Mighty Clouds of Joy, Ricky Dillard & New G, Lecresia Campbell, Wanda Nero-Butler, Josh Groban, to name a few.On July 13, 1998 he received his "Doctorate Degree Of Humanities", from The Union Baptist Seminary Inc. School Of Religious Studies. He's the proud parent of One Daughter "LaQuinta'" and Eleven God-Children (Ramone, Lil Tony, James, Trese, Tisha, Larry, Kaja, DaMont, David, Barbara,& Man-Man).
