Kevin Hobson

Kevin Maurice Hobson ... raised in Highland Park, MI, the second born son of Elizabeth and Maurice, and the brother of Eric, Stephanie and Dot (deceased). Married to his "Soul Mate", Teresa ... together they are raising one son, Deven.
Besides being an accomplished vocalist, organist and director, Kevin has served as a Minister of Music for over 10 years, taught piano and music publically and privately, and has received training at Wayne State University, Hewettes Music Academy of Dearborn and Detroit Drum School. Professionally he has traveled and played all over the country, including being a guest on the Bobby Jones Gospel Hour and a soloist on the 15th Annual Steller Music Awards Show.

Kevin has faithfully served as Director of Music and Media at Kadesh Baptist Church, lead Tenor and soloist in the Michael Fletcher Chorale and as the Assistant State Director of the State of Michigan Full Gospel Baptist Church Music Ministry. He also served as a member of the State of Michigan Full Gospel Baptist Church Worship Ministry, the Detroit Chapter of the Gospel Music Workshop of America, the Dean of Instrumental Music at the Tribe of Levites School of the Finer Performing Arts, and as a dedicated member of Clyde L. Webster and "Another Chance" Ministries. Currently, Kevin serves as the Minister of Music and Worship Coordinator at the Golden Gate Baptist Church, of Dallas, Texas. There he leads a powerful music ministry exceeding 200 voices, as well as overseeing the other creative arts ministries (multi-media, sound, dance & drama). He has also found time in his often hectic schedule to excel as a student at The Greater Excellence Ministry School and as a Business Major at The University of Pheonix.
Kevin has been appointed and chosen to be an anointed Minister of God's Word and Praise and Worship Leader. He is an achiever ... sets high goals, and credits only the faithfulness and favor of God for reaching and exceeding those goals.
