Johny Dey began playing guitar publicly in the tri-state area as part of the glam band Godsend along side of Rachel Bolan. After recording sessions and live shows with Godsend, Johny helped assemble punk rock band The Flu playing bass for shows throughout the Northeast and Canada. In the late 90s, he worked as a studio musician playing bass and guitar on several rock, pop and gospel releases as well as writing and recording his own material with Plan 9 and Circle of Love . In 2000, he joined Jr. Shab adding a second guitar to their original sound playing throughout the Northeast on their own and in support of Skid Row and Black Label Society. He also lent his guitar and bass playing to several NY/NJ cover bands including Wall of Power and Bad Little Doggie . In late 2005, he rejoined the original music market where he continues performing and recording with Frankenstein 3000 . As part of F3K, he has played guitar backing Cherie Currie (The Runaways) and Annabella Lwin (Bow Wow Wow). Johny also works as a studio musician and a private instructor as his schedule allows.
