New artist for you to check out. she won't be everybody's cup of tea, but her music is very ethereal and evocative. She hopes to come to England and do a few gigs; so if anyone thinks they can offer her a slot please get in touch.
Superb band you must check out!
THE REASONING
Debut album out now AWAKENING. This is quite simply the best new album release since Dark Side of the Moon.
The Reasoning are truly the rightful heirs to Pink Floyd themselves.
I was lucky enough to see them live as well, at the Cambridge Rock Festival, and they seriously kicked posterior, sounding even better than the album.
They performed a new song as well which suggests that the follow up will be every bit as good as the first album. Please check them out. I really want them to make it big so I can brag about how I saw them when they were just starting out. :-)

if you are
a fan of
HARRY POTTER.
Next Led Zep Too gigs.
Check Led Zep Too for dates.
French 4 Tots
I also run and maintain a website for very young children learning French; called French 4 Tots The site is undergoing extensive redevelopment but is already getting around 2,000 unique visitors a month.
Other shit
Other than that my time is so taken up by my family and work and of course Led Zep Too that it doesn't leave much room for hobbies.
I'd like to meet:
People who don't watch big brother etc.
People who don't read heat, more, now, etc.
People who don't buy stuff because a celebrity told them to;
People who don't drive inappropriately, in the middle lane.
People who don't park, inappropriately, in disabled bays and parent and child bays.
People who don't let their dogs shit on the pavement or if they do they fucking clear it up!
People who can tolerate the opinions of others without feeling the need to try and blow them up, stab them, starve them, steal their country etc etc.
Music:
Gotta keep this brief, so genres.
Some Rock 'n' Roll
1960s e.g. Beatles/Who/Stones/Pink Floyd/Hendrix
Classic rock e.g. Led Zeppelin
Heavy Rock e.g. Deep Purple
Prog Rock, e.g. Rick Wakeman
Country Rock, e.g. Eagles
Motown, Heavy Soul, Disco classics.
Eighties Ska and Two tone, indie, some electronic stuff. I tend to cherry pick from this decade quite a bit.
Still liking rock obiously
Nineties, good indie and rock.
New music I like to promote new original bands that I like.
Djevara,
fierce political punk metal. If you were ever a fan of RATM you should check these guys out.
Instill another great really heavy band. The singer uses a megaphone into the microphone on one track. Fans of SOAD in particular should check these guys out.
Hurantia heavy progressive rock band from Mexico. Not often I focus attention on a non British band but they are effing great.
Plan Nine much better than the film. :-) A superb classic rock type originals band from Suffolk.
They have interesting sartorial taste and a look and sound that evokes the greats like Zeppelin, Cream, Zappa etc.
Movies:
It's a wondeful life
Casablanca
the first three Harry Potter movies. (4 sucked!) 5 was better.
Monty Python's Life of Brian, Holy Grail and bits of Meaning of Life.
I really like a film called "WATER" which starred Michael Caine and had a host of stars and cameos including Billy Connolly as a singing rebel, and Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Eric Clapton as themselves.
It seems to have pretty much disappeared without trace but it was badly underrated.
Television:
Life on Mars
House
Dr. Who.
comedy
NOT REALITY TV !
Except, well go on then,
PLAY IT AGAIN ! LOL
Books:
HARRY POTTER
Chronicles of Ancient Darkness. (Michelle Paver) Like Harry Potter but different
Atlas Shrugged, The Fountainhead, By Ayn Rand.
The Twelfth Angel by Og Mandino. (If you ever felt like you couldn't go on, that life is not worth living; for a quick fix listen to "Everybody Hurts" by REM for the full recovery try The Twelfth Angel by Og Mandino. If that doesn't work you are clinically depressed and need a proper doctor. ((that'll be £500 for the consult thank you.)))
Heroes:
My dad. I was lucky enough to tell him, before he died
People be warned, don't let yourself be in the position that "In The Living Years" always makes you cry.
All guitarists, in fact all musicians: obviously excluding Chris F***ing Martin. LOL
People might expect me to say Robert Plant or some other singer, but the simple truth is that I can hit any note I ever heard Plant sing and then some.
I can hold a note for longer than any singer I've ever heard and I can sing any style, including a rendition of Bjork's "Its Oh So Quiet" that has to be heard to be believed. LOL
This is not bragging its just a fact.
I'm not even particularly proud of this. I was born able to sing so it would be like some guy with a big dick thinking he was something special because of it.
Obviously I do have a big dick as well. Ha ha ha!
Anyway I digress; if you can play a guitar, drums, keyboard or whatever then I am presuming you had to work on it. You rehearse, you excercise and you persevere. I never did and because of that I bow down to you.
I consider it an honour and a priveledge to carry your cabs and heads for you and I NEVER let anybody talk about MY band !
