Shall I list? Music, travel, dance, hiking, all visual arts, cooking/drinking/talking with friends, cooking/drinking/talking with strangers, a great book of any genre, jamming, movie-watching.... The list goes on.
People... Lots of 'em...
Anything and everything good, great, feel-good, and/or strange.
These always depend on what headspace I'm in, but normally I go for the twisted and/or thought-provoking kind, or really well-made epics. "Glitter" is the epidome of what I don't enjoy; hidden gems that catch you by surprise as being really good are my favorite. But I wouldn't try to pass myself off as a movie buff; I don't watch a lot of films.... This is more because I don't have the technical means at home, though, than by choice.
Ahem... No TV at home.
Oh, where to begin... Most of the stuff I read, is by reccomendation or random selection, and has nothing to do with buying the latest work by said author, so reccommend away! I suppose a good book all depends on the person reading it, but a decent fallback way to pick a new book (that works for me) is by checking the Giller Prize winners. They're usually awesome. Some authors, though... JD Salinger, Paulo Coelho, Mordecai Richler, Tom Wolfe (despite the ego), Yann Martel... And I hate to say it because it might sound pretentious, but I love Shakespeare.
My friends - Smiley, Hotlinn, Bessame, Terra... My parents. My gran and her unparalleled strength. My almost-parents the Wilsons. My mentor MJ. Anyone who tries with everything they have.
