BIOGRAPHY
In 1997, Giuseppe “Rex” Caruso (guitars and vocals), Alex Caruso (guitars) and Mattia Sciutti (drums) crate the Ira project. After two years of “settlement”, cause of no fix bass player in line-up, they start to record the first demo called “Urna” (2000), and they receive a good feedback from audience and local fanzines. The band plays also at two editions of Perpetual moonshine ( festival with big bands as Node, Novembre and Vision Divine), and next the new line-up composes new songs with a different style, from thrash to death metal between European and American school. In 2004 Ira issues the second demo “Chaotic regression”, and plays in a lot of gigs in north Italy, as the Titans of Thrash, with Carnal Forge. At the beginning of 2005, the band go through a crisis, so they decide to have a “stand-by time”. But Mattia and Rex, with strength of friendship recreate Ira with a new line-up (Marco Frigatti-bass and Silvano Bianchi-guitars). In May 2005. In few months they are already be ready for new appearences on stage. 9th October 2005 Ira play at Black in Mind Fest, with Italian and German metal gods. It’s the first show for the new line-up, but their impact is very convincing. This means new good reviews and positive audience comments. The good reviews flows down like rain, and the band in many cases was compared to “Death” the band of Chuck Schuldiner, death metal father. Live activity unfortunately was not really full of gigs, because we was preparing the new promo cd, “Dawn of World Redemption ”, that was ready in December 2006, it gets a lot of good reviews, from webzines and magazine, like Rock Sound, Grind Zone, Metal Shock, Metal Hammer, Rock Hard ecc.., and they taking part to some local radio and web interviews. The band was contacted by some Labels, but they already didn’t sign a contract. Now Ira are preparing their first full-lenght, and they are searching for a Label that will produce and distribute it. In the near future we have some gigs in Italy and, may be, in Europe.
