About Me

KONTRO born under the name QueensDeath in the summer 2002,from the brutal mind of Daniel(drums),Diego(guitars)and Max(voices),yearning for play death metal,desire worked out during years of demos and concerts with bands as Strix , Brain Dead , El Negro , Conati di Vomito , 0.9. In the next two years the band plays live shows and it gives free play to its gift starting to compose the first songs. During the 2004 , after some months spent with Daniele to the bass , the bassist Marco(Three Days Rain , Coda di Lupo , Soul Stripper , Violen Storm) joins the band permanently. Then KONTRO develop definitely the four songs that make up their homonymous demo,recorded and mixed at Dissonant studios and mastered at Swedish Cutting Room in 2006.They step up their live activity, receiving good feedbacks from audience, playing with bands as Illogicist , Warnerve , Nerv , Act of god , Sakhaiter , Frostmoon eclipse , Ira , Apeiron and many others while their demo “Kontro” is very well reviewed by Italian and foreign webzines and fanzines. In the end of 2007 the drummer Daniel leaves the band and Alessandro takes his place. KONTRO partecipate to METALBATTLE 2008 passing the first selection and they go to play at the Sottotetto in Bologna with Nithglow,Lunatic Asylum,Shadowfost and Torture Squad. Meanwhile new songs come to light...a
