MUSICAL AND OTHER ACHIEVEMENTS
Bands:-
BATHROOM CITY (bass) - 1993/1994 - Played 2 gigs around 1994 and recorded on a really rough demo tape.
DIMITRODAK (bass) - 1997 - Played 1 gig with Gaz (bassist from Canvas at the time).
CANVAS (sounds and samples) - 1997/1998 - Played 20 gigs (one UK tour, one European jaunt, took in Holland, Belgium, London a few times), recorded tracks that were on their self-titled early discography album on Household Name Records, and the 3 songs that went on the split with Hard To Swallow on Contrition Records. Played with the likes of Culture, Arkangel, Catharsis and more.
EYE OF PHETKANHA (Electronica) - 1999-2001 - One half of the ambient duo that had one album ('In the light I become'), had nearly 10,000 plays on MP3.com before it's original death, and had one song feature on the slasher movie 'Jigsaw' (excerpts used in 5 different places of the film). Album recently made re-available here on Myspace.
TANGAROA (bass) - 1999-2003 - Played around 80 gigs (including the Chuck Schuldiner of Death tribute all dayer at Bradford Rios, the Revolt festival in Dundee, supports to Mastodon, Everytime I Die and many more). Recorded on the first EP 'Ever f*cked a black metal wh0re' and the second EP 'Tangaroa'.
NARCOSIS (bass) - 2002-2003 - Played around 90 gigs all over Europe (3 weeks in Europe taking in Germany, Holland, Denmark, Sweden, Austria & Czech Republic, plus 4 dates over in both parts of Ireland, and other gigs up and down the UK and in Holland). Recorded on the tracks that ended up as a split with The Swaaaarrrmmm, and a live recording from Germany that appeared on the CD version of 'Heart slows down'.
RETH (bass) - 2005-present day - So far played around 40 gigs (up to end of 2006) (including supports to Cephalic Carnage, Melt Banana/Khanate, Deranged, The Berzerker, Ephel Duath, Suicide Silence and The Red Chord (in London)). Tons more to come with a few recordings lined up.
INCANDESCENCE (Programming/Bass/Remixing) - 2003-present day - So far self-released 7 albums with a lot more planned for this project.
CEREBRAL CONSTRICTION (Programming) - 2006-present day - Full on harsh noise/unsettling ambient noise and hypnosis, already getting a great response on this 'ere website.
FUCKING HOSTEL (Acoustic Stupidity) - July 2006 - A one off evening of drunken acoustic grind antics involving 5 of us, spoons, mint, taps, toilets, wood and a dictaphone in the Czech Republic during Obscene Extreme time!
SLAM (Brutal death slam!!!!!) - July 2007... - Me and Rob from EDT. This project shall expand.

Oh yeah, I also love other things, like the Obscene Extreme Festival in the Czech Republic, and Prague as well whilst talking about that country. I also love peanut butter, toast and peanut butter in a morning with a cup of tea (two sugars please), tiramisu cake, and I'm especially loving Brandy at the moment, and crackers!

Other Stuff:-
I played a lot of snooker between the ages of 13 and 24 and won around 20 trophies for competitions in Leeds, some were team related ones (where I was the captain of the club I played at), some for doubles, some for singles (including winning the Leeds Championships). I also won around 40 Sunday League competitions at the club. I haven't played for nearly 5 years, and simply play pool occasionally in pubs.

I love really tense psychological films.. Favourites being Seven, Battle Royale (the first one, the second is pretty poor!), Reservoir Dogs, 28 days later, Dawn of the dead (remake), Yellow Submarine, Leon, Great Escape, Duel, Lord of the Rings (all of them), Shawshank Redemption, The Shining, One flew over the cuckoo's nest, blah blah.. tons more!

Television:

is shit aside from the very occasional hint of gold, such as The Simpsons, South Park, Family Guy, Black Books, Big Train (the Staring World Championships is one of the funniest things I've ever seen!), Jam, CSI, erm, um, er, that's about it.

where's the art section? screw TV!!! i wanna talk about David Ho, Escher and Roman Dirge!

Books:

Don't get much chance to read, but favourite books have been '1984' by George Orwell, 'The Diceman' by Luke Reinhardt, generally though, it's more comics and cartoons, like Snoopy, Calvin and Hobbes, Lenore, Bear, JTHM, Squee, Garfield that gets me reading. Oh, and of course Terrorizer and Zero Tolerance magazines.

I wrote 2 books, indeed, the 1st one is completed, a mad philosophical ramble about philophy, mythology, inner self, outside everything else really, the 2nd one is done in idea, but needs expanding on and would make a good film one day, I could tell you what it is all about if you like....

Heroes:

Everyone and everything has INFLUENCED me at some point, brought me to this point etc... the main people that have played parts (outside of best friends, girlfriends and my parents), ie, people in bands and showbiiiiiz etc... john peel, mike patton, les claypool, fredrik thordendal, all the people in all the bands i've been in, singling out dan the drummer from canvas for teaching me how to understand odd rhythms and the art of counting within riffs, hmm, difficult from here, as everyone else is very important but they seem to stick as the main few for bringing something that little bit different in..
