Liberation through hearing...

About Me

Bardo Thodol dotnet is the project homepage of Kevin Paul Ingham. It is a platform from which to release and spread my creativity, maybe so others can enjoy it too.

I am a big fan of DIY ethics and love to meet people who create/release the art that they are truly passionate about, especially those who share a similar creative vision to my own. These minds should always be encouraged to meet, so please don't hesitate to contact me if you are interested in collaborations, commissions, remix work, production work, booking me for gigs, release/distribution/purchase of web/packaged releases, or just to say hi.

Pupilar is an ever evolving, ever expanding, experimental project primarily based in sound, but also flirting with visual media and any other art form it may encounter on its continuing journey. Conceived in a world of analogue field recordings meets modern computer manipulated electronics, it focuses on evocative organic soundscapes and collages of instruments, samples, textures and drones.

As well as a musician, I find a great deal of creative fulfillment in working as a craftsman of sound. Over the past few years while developing my music as Pupilar, I have created challenges for myself and vastly developed my skills as a producer, which have later manifested themselves as many more side projects and collaborations. These experiences led me to study a Masters Degree in Post Production: Sound Design at the University of Bournemouth in 2004/05, in which I completed many projects, including several short films, documentaries and also the re-soundtracking of the classic film, La Jetée by Chris Marker. Around this study, I have also produced Music and Sound Design for many artists who encompass a huge variety of styles and genres of Audio & Video art.
