An age-old passion for J.R.R. Tolkien's books, who remains one of my favourite writer ever, beside italian's Stefano Benni, Andrea Camilleri and Italo Calvino. Recently, I've read intensively E.A. Poe and H.P. Lovecraft. Regarding new talented writers, I like very much Matthew Pearl (with his books "The Dante Club" and "The Poe Shadow"). A fresh interest in greek tragedy (Aeschylus, Euripedes, Sophocles).
