Olya was born in Tallinn,Estonia in 1982 and from early age travelled around with her father.One of Olya's earliest memories is singing with her dad playing the guitar.
She knew all the lyrics to songs popular at the time,and would sing literally everywhere:at home,in the street for friends,at the bus stop.
At the age of 10 Olya got accepted to a private vocal/entertainment school.
After a few months she was offered tuition free of charge.
She took lessons of vocal,choreography,speech,drama,stage performance and note grammar and loved them all.Before long she was singing,acting and performing all over the country and abroad,participating in and winning many big singing contests,performing in major theatres,city halls and clubs.
Still a teenager, Olya got into papers, appeared on TV and radio and aside from solo career became a soloist of a 5-piece show band with 4 other super talented guys. They tested their talent singing different kinds of music: switching from acapella 5-voice jazz harmonies to pop,from rock to modern dance music.People seemed to love the variety of styles and the shows were becoming more and more popular.The band went on the road a lot.
Olya loved performing with her band but realised that what they've achieved was probably the most they could have achieved in the circumstances.There were bigger and better things out there.
It was time to take a big risk and move on.Olya travelled the world and enjoyed taking in other cultures and traditions.Then packed her bags and came to London,where she started writing songs.
Then Olya went for her first London audition.It was for an R'n'B live band who were looking for a female singer and they picked her out of 40 or 50 girls.Olya was very surprised coz it was her first ever audition!
Band started rehearsing and recording but eventually everything fell apart.For the next few years Olya had been a member of various bands and projects trying to 'get foot in the door',but as experience has proved so many people in this industry like to talk the talk but not many actually walk the walk.But this disappointing fact wasn't about to stop this girl.Olya kept writing and making the most of her life in London.As a self-confessed party animal she's been soaking up London club atmosphere,which gave her a lot of inspiration and ideas.Finally Olya got a record deal with an indie label but after a year of hard work and commitment she was disappointed yet again and was so unhappy with situation that she made a decision to terminate the contract.
After over 7 years in London Olya made yet another big move,this time to US.
Over the past few years Olya developed as an artist concentrating even more on her writing.She is now working on her solo album in the US with the help of the one and only VUDU SPELLZ.Olya is excited to be working with some of the most talanted people in the industry,but is also always on the lookout for interesting people to collaborate with who can add different flavour to the project.At present time Olya has a lot of projects in the pipeline - films,performances,more songwriting and recording.You'll be seeing this girl everywhere!Watch out for the new album soon!
