Born in Plainfeild N.J. Max Torres also known as Mad Max moved to Bethlehem P.A. at the age of 5. By the age of 12 , he was Djing, producing beats, and recording tracks with local artists. In high school he took up Commercial Arts designing album covers, and expressing an abstract form of graffiti. After his graduation in 2002 he enrolled in Northampton Community College. Here he graduated with an Associates Degree in Applied science for the Radio/TV program where he specialized in Audio Engineering as well as taking courses in multimedia. While at Northampton Community College he truly developed skills in Audio recording and production, and mix downs, as well as shooting and editing music videos, creating graphics, websites, album covers, DVD‘s and other multimedia formats. Also at this time, he worked for All Eyez On Me Recording Studio in Easton P.A.. Here he recorded local artists and mixed down songs for albums, mix CD’s, and performances. While in Northampton Community College he interns for RCN Audio/Video Production Center. There he works with CNN Local Edition News controlling audio boards, shooting video and editing the news. After graduating from Northampton Community College he attends Mercy College in White Plains N.Y. for his bachelor’s degree in the Music Technology Program where he is currently attending. Here he is truly mastering his skills in Audio Production and Engineering. Along with the mass amount of studio equipment at Mercy College where he is gaining knowledge, he also owns his own studio consisting of a Dual 2.0 G5 Power Macintosh, Protools Digi002 with control surface, an 88-key Korg Triton Studio, an Akai MPC 2500, Yamaha DJX, 2 Nuemark PT2 Turntables, 2 Beringer Truth Studio monitors, and various other equipment, microphones and software.
