Dark Poet

People call me many things, mostly unrepeatable, but usually I'm known as Dark Poet, Psyko and InfoPro. I've been a musician, singer and poet for my entire life, and I look forward to a fairer society not based on multi-national colonialism and the exploitation of the working classes for the benefit of the very few.

On the jukebox at the moment is Return of the Useless Generation by one of my old bands called Katfight.

I post my writing in my blog,...poetry, prose/short stories/creative writing and thoughts/insights into the socio-political and environmental catastrophes that the world is currently facing. Feel free to check it out to pass the time and maybe enlighten your mind!!

My current project is a unit called FAM, UK based alternative/crossover HipHop, dark and with a lot of alternative rock/goth influences, but I think I feel another project beckoning to satisfy my ego as a frontman!!

I am also interested in martial arts, having studied Tae Kwon Do and Kickboxing for many years until being forced to stop due to a bad injury, now fully healed thankfully. I am currently training in Krav Maga, a martial art that is full contact and has no rules. Originally from Hampshire I am now based in Nottingham, a wicked city, with a great atmosphere and a great music scene. But I did also spend several years living in Leicester whilst I did my degree. Obviously, I moved to Nottm for the scene and Rock City,although it is not what it used to be.

Accept no imitations or limitations and you will be heading in the right direction,.....only you can choose your true path though. Too many suffer their own insecurities, narrowing their own life experience and never truly realising their full potential,.....fearing they are worth nothing,......when in fact it is actually a fear that other people may think they are are worth nothing. And so they shut themselves away,...and allow their defeat by default.

Be proud of who and what you are.

Achieve your true potential.

Life is nothing without experience.

Stand up for those who cannot fight for themselves.

Don't believe everything the media and governments tell you,...it is mostly fabricated lies to keep you from the truth.

Do unto others as you would have done to yourself and you will find that you attract those with positive value systems and energy.

Treat people with disrespect and disdain and you will attract exactly that sort of person, and you will never have anyone who you can truly trust to watch your back and catch you when you fall.
