About Me

Actor...old school. Ever heard of Simon Callow?Really, it's taken me a long time to think about what to write here. Someone who's never met me before, what would they want to know? Anything I say would be regarding me at the moment, not me as I would meet them...such a problem!I am an actor, unfortunately usually type cast. I've been playing "princess" since high school. I've worked for Medieval Times (as princess), Mardi Gras (princess), The Cranky Princess (Princess)...need I go on? My true love is something dark...mysterious. I started to work for haunted houses in college, and it's the one time of year a princess is not appropriate. A nice change of pace. As for my true passion, that's Shakespeare. Because EVERYBODY dies. No, not really, but I do have this amazing passion for the Bard's works. I studied in London at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts for Shakespearean Acting. It was the best experience of my life.As far as me, not in a working capacity, I am who I am. I am passionate, I am spiritual, I am creative, I am full of life. I like peace (and quiet...sometimes). I love to travel the world. I want to see Egypt before I die, and go back to live in London again.

My Interests

Wow....Shakespeare. I am obsessive over Shakespeare. And acting (mostly Shakespeare) and directing (Shakespeare). ARCHERY (how I miss you!), History, music, theatre, reading. Animals (they're so gosh darn cute!). Design (whether home or clothing), sewing, costuming. Video games (currently playing Final Fantasy 12, my first Final Fantasy game, I said I would never give in to the crowds saying it's so good, but, well, it is really good)!!!

I'd like to meet:

Who would YOU like to meet? Shakespeare. Yeah, definitely would like to meet Shakespeare. And God. And Johnny Depp. Christopher Walken, Anthony Hopkins, Sean Connery, Hugh Lorrie, Simon Callow, Dame Judy Dench.

Music:

Almost anything. Almost. I love classical, Rennaisance, Medieval music, as well as classic rock, techno, indie, etc. I grew up with my dad influencing me with Jazz and classical, my mom with top forty, pop, and oldies, and my brother with rap and death metal, so I guess anything but country suits me fine.

Movies:

Horror films, although few have actually scared me since I was six....I'm always looking for the next scary thing :) Also classic movies from when I was younger, like Princess Bride, Dark Crystal, the Worst Witch, Neverending Story, and the Labyrinth. Stage Beauty and Illuminata have to be my favorite "actor" movies.

Television:

Television? What's television? I don't watch much. If i do, though, Family Guy and Mythbusters. That's pretty much it,and House, Hugh Laurie is amazing.....

Books:

Anything by Stephen King (especially The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon), Anne Rice (Vittorio is my favorite). House of Leaves, Historical fiction, Leper King, The Witch of Cologne.

Heroes:

My mom. She's an amazing woman. She's my best friend.
