About Me

I was born in Pascagoula Mississippi,a shipyard-and-paper mill town dotting the exurbs of the state's Gulf Coast.Goula's proablay best known for being the birthplace of Jimmy Buffett,Trent Lott's congressional district,and the site of a ficticious Squirrel Revivalchronicled in a horrible 80s novelty song(clearly Ray Stevens' lowest point ever). This town's best known by me for being the spot of a famous UFO kidnapping,a major port for pirates like Jean Lafitte,and occupation under many different flags(France,Spain,England,Florida,Confederate States of America,United States of America,FEMA). It was in this enviroment that i recieved my first impressions of the world.When i was 14 i moved 35 miles west to Gulfport. At this point i was already bit by the Punk Wave Bug and started playing in bands and booking shows at Roller Rinks,Jaycee Huts,and,uh,my parents' backyard.I traveled all over the south to see/play shows and hang out,and i eventually got the urge to see even more.I split for Portland the first time when i was 21.I returned and spent time bouncing back and forth between The Magnolia State and other places.I lived in Conneticut,Austin,Oakland,and San Francisco before landing in New Orleans.I lived for a few years but it was time to go so i headed back to the Northwest.Other than living in Olympia and Seattle,i've been in Portland a long time but i guess it's time to go.I've been playing music for a long time and it never gets old,even when i say it does.It keeps me alive and i couldn't imagine doing anything else then or now,though it has seemed like an awful lot of extra work to do lately. I can guarantee you that none of my bands will ever be asked to play a My Space Tour. Music's a big part of my life but i do have other intrests and endeavours i'd like to pursue,i just need to get off my lazy ass and do them.
