these days i play music and sing and it's effing sweet and wonderful, cathartic and sometimes totally pissed off. i am very sincere and most probably overwhelming at times, especially if i've been drinking. i am a big sap. know thyself! i drive a cab. there are things i want to do before we totally turn into a christian facist wasteland or someone else pushes the button first. i like to savor things a bunch. i love having fun and enjoying the decadence that surrounds us...if only you'll reach out and take a bite! i love hanging out with my sweetie. bbqing is always a go.current bands are the HEADLINERS and occasional bursts of other stuff and older bands that come back to life. it feels real good but sometimes too busy... i like reading and writing and playing music and hanging out with my friends and being alone. i like taking walks and i love water. i enjoy sunshine and being nocturnal. i think humans are in trouble. i want to get my tubes tied.there's not enough time to get stuff done. i'm never bored!!!..

My Interests

my friends and family! RIPPIN' IT UP! specimen and artifacts. exploring...i'm very fascinated with the dark underbelly of life and history. ethics and honor. old things and old souls. being thankful and concious of this easy living life of adventure(that i work very hard for)...at least it's easy in my neighborhood. poverty isn't so fun in most places. i will never be a drone. i like good people that like to live their lives from their hearts, even if their hearts are troubled. i like courageous people. i don't like weak people that live like vampires. i like to scavenge around for neat stuff and sounds. i like to make sounds and travel around. having an oasis at home is important to me. i have kitties that are sweet as can be. i am always thinking about how effed this world is while trying to have the most fun possible without buying into it all. i like consumer dadaism way more than i like shopping... i like getting lost, but am really good at finding my way around, so it's a challenge to get lost, but i try. i like velocity. velocity is a drug. i like that. i love dreaming and making my dreams come true...i am systematically acheiving my dreams one by one. i think people are absurd...and that we are social animals that need to touch one another in order to avoid going completely insane. i like my motorcycle and my bicycle and using my legs and the train to go places. i like communicating but am still figuring out how. music, music, music...and pinball!!! and poker and scrabble and all that kinda goofball stuff.

al green and folks that like to go camping and your band(you really can't suck though) and people that like to get nautical... width="425" height="350" ....

Music:

trashy, raw music. nw music! stuff to drink and dance to-psychedelic island music-loud, dark and dirty sounds interspersed with a lot of old/new/weirdo stuff to make you jump around and get sweaty. soul music. new wave all the way and old industrial/goth stuff! dope raps and hip hop. garage trash. punk rock. old country. old western. torch singers and bebop-jazz and prejazz. ragtime. r and b! rock and roll. blues. international curiosities. soul singers. dancehall/dub. live music. pirate radio!!! i've also come to the realization that metal can be very very sweet indeed...

Movies:

black cat, white cat, run ronnie run, blade runner, the shining, deliverence, samurai movies, the original willie wonka and the chocolate factory, harold and maude, spring, summer, fall, winter...spring(this movie is absolutely beautiful), city of lost children, city of god, documentaries, cheesy horror films and movies my friends make

Television:

ugh, my brain just turned to jelly...hot damn i love those poker tournaments!

Books:

CONFEDERACY OF DUNCES! any i can get-especially auto/biographies, travel stories, dirty comics and cookbooks. i also love harper's magazine. good stuff.

Heroes:

helen keller, johnny cash, truthsayers, al green and my mom. dead moon and the cheater slicks!
